Well, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

The new year is finally here, according to the Chinese calander its the year of the Ox, which incidently is my Chinese zodiac animal, so lets hope that means good things for the coming year.

2008 had a rather crappy ending with waking on the 31st only to find my computer broken and then finding out that the Wacken Open Air 2009 festival which I was hoping to go to in August is already sold out before the year even began!
But 2008 did have some ups aswell as downs throughout the year. Let me list some of the more memorable events of the year.


The Things of 2008:

- Winning a Nintendo Wii at a raffle in the uniiversity's night club.

- Going to the univerity Summer Ball which costed 40 pounds per ticket and turned out to be the biggest bore and waste of money.

- End of year art show for which I did 7 peices for Kafka's Metamorphosis.

- Moving out of my cozy little house and moving back to Germany once uni. had finnished.

- Going to a Runrig concert.

- Doing a TEFL course in London for one month.

- Going to RAGNARÖK'S AASKEREIA folk metal concert featuring the bands:
Týr
Hollenthon
Alestorm
Svartsot
Gwydion

- Going to the Eastpack Antidote Tour featuring the bands:
Time Again
Skindred
Street Dogs
Flogging Molly

- Offical graduation ceremony at st. Alban's cathedral.


Stuff Planned For 2009:

- Get that ruddy thooth removed which was hurting me. Its stopped for now but I want to get rid of it before it starts up again.

- Get my computer fixed...

- More reading! Ive been on The God Delusion since August

- Go to a music festival. Since WOA is sold out I'll probably go to Hurricane instead, unless I can get ahold of some second hand tickets.

- Go to more concerts! Alestorm and Lordi are both playing this month!

- Do the TEFL diploma.

- Continue looking for a way to teach in Japan.

- Watch all of Joan of Acardia.

- Catch up on Dexter season 3.
